Media, marketing and the systems behind them.
I lead strategy, media and marketing at Everythings 13, the charity behind the Basics of Sikhi YouTube channel: what gets made, how it gets made, and the numbers that show what worked. In 2021 I co-founded BoS TV, its long-form channel for podcasts, films and vlogs, which has since passed 5 million views.
Through DGN Sounds, a seva project, I record and share kirtan and katha from programmes around the world. That is where much of the audio and broadcast experience comes from.
In 2020 I built the first automated live-streaming system for Khalsa Jatha British Isles. It is still on air. Systems followed at Sri Guru Singh Sabha Southall, Guru Arjan Dev Ji Gurdwara Derby and Sri Guru Singh Sabha Slough: four channels, five Gurdwara sites and more than 5,000 recordings so far.
Website work grew out of the same organisations and businesses asking for a site that was fast, clear and looked after. SinghStream now builds websites for service businesses and community organisations alongside the streaming work.
Four problems, and what happened next.
The brief is rarely "build a website" or "install cameras". It is a problem someone has lived with for a while.
Gurdwaras wanted every divaan online
- The problem
- The Sangat at home wanted to watch every programme, but streaming depended on a volunteer being free every morning and evening.
- The solution
- Streaming systems that run to a schedule and are looked after remotely, installed once per venue.
- The impact
- Five Gurdwara sites on air daily, more than 5,000 recordings kept for the Sangat, and the first system still running since 2020.
A charity needed a home for long-form content
- The problem
- Basics of Sikhi wanted podcasts, films and vlogs to reach a wider audience than its main channel was built for.
- The solution
- Co-founded BoS TV in March 2021 and built the workflow behind it, from planning and recording to publishing and reporting.
- The impact
- 5 million views, 41,800 subscribers and 608,000 hours watched. Views doubled or better every year to 2024, and 2026 passed the whole of 2025 with three months still to go.
An archive spread across three platforms
- The problem
- DGN Sounds' recordings lived on YouTube, SoundCloud and Instagram, with nobody free to maintain a website.
- The solution
- A one-page hub that updates itself as new recordings are published.
- The impact
- One link to share, and nothing to maintain.
Businesses paying monthly for sites they could not change
- The problem
- Local businesses were paying for sites that looked dated, were awkward to update and slow on a phone.
- The solution
- Fast, hand-built sites with the words written for them, hosted and looked after so the owner never touches them.
- The impact
- Ten sites live in 2026, from Shark Security UK and Fireworks Brothers to Finding Sikhi and Luxe Gift Co. in Canada, each fast on a phone with an enquiry or a call one tap away.

Three working principles.
Understand the problem first
Every project starts with what is actually going wrong, not with a product. The solution follows from that, and sometimes it is smaller than expected.
The simplest reliable setup
Fewer moving parts means fewer things that can fail during a Sunday morning stream or a Monday morning enquiry.
Support after launch
Every system and website is supported once it is live. The 2020 system is still on air.
